Motivation

La Petite Mort is a female stimulation simulation, and often games that try to tackle this subject is made from a male centric viewpoint, along with the antiquated view on how games should be designed, with competition being a necessity – what we definitely wanted to stay away from was “how quickly can you make the woman cum”. I do not share notes on “performance time” with my friends and definitely not with my partner. It is much more about the experience itself. So our thoughts went much more into how to make the actual pleasuring, pleasurable. This is why we have made a couple of design decisions to enable the player to take it slow and savor the moment. History

Beginnings

La Petite Mort came out of a long history of experimenting with the boundaries of games in the Copenhagen Game Collective. Ever since we made Dark Room Sex game, we knew that games could make interesting things within all kinds of topics.

Arse Electronica

Vulvas come in all shapes and sizes as seen in Cunt Touch This, an experiment that was made last year about coloring cunts and that’s why we also wanted our, albeit pixelated, vulvas to be of real life women.

So we had a performance at the Arse Elektronica 2015 where people could come and donate images of their vulva (we would record them in a seclude safe space), and they could then later "play with themselves" on the iPad.

Nordic Game Conference 2016

At the Nordic Game Conference 2016 we had an E-orgy where.
